Directors

Three directors with different skills and a unique team make Kiepie Land a second home with lots of love and attention to detail. The Managing Director, Cora Robbertse, is responsible for internal control and efficient management of the facility.

Her door is always open to discuss any matter regarding your child. Kindly make an appointment if you would like to see her in private.

Administrators

All administration, placements and correspondence will be handled by the MFS administrative assistant.

The MFS accountant, Lydia van Jaarsveld will handle all financial aspects of the daycare facility.

The staff will be evaluated on a regular basis and developed with ongoing training.

Teachers, Trainees and Care Givers

Every teachers, trainees and care giver is hand-picked to the advantage of every baby and toddler in our care. Caring is our first priority and then the education of your child. Every employee will attend different courses and seminars on a regular basis to make sure that your child always receives the best care and education.

Staff Ratio

The proposed staff ratio is based on best practise in the industry to ensure best care and love.

Ratio’s per class:

Senior class: 1:20 – Teacher and assistant (4 – 5 year)

Junior class: 1:15 – Shared teacher, assistant and shared helper (3 – 4 year)

Junior class: 1:6 – Shared teacher, assistant and shared helper (18 – 24 months)

Junior class: 1:6 – Shared teacher, assistant and shared helper (13 – 18 months)

Baby class: 1:4 – Shared teacher, care giver and shared helper (6 – 12 months)

Baby class: 1:4 – Shared teacher, care giver and shared helper (Baby – 8 months)

The above ratios are not applicable during school holidays due to lesser number of children.

Assistants

The main aim of assistants is to assist the teacher. Assistants receive regular training.

Domestic Staff

Domestic staff includes a cleaner and gardener. They work as a team to keep the area hygienically clean and tidy for all the babies, toddlers, parents and staff.
